Amaroo Kicks Off 2026 Sprint Series

Thirty-four MX-5s turned out for the 2026 Sprint Championship opener at Sydney Motorsport Park’s Amaroo Circuit, tackling mixed weather and a cracking CSCA field. With lap records tumbling, gearboxes protesting and diehards chasing every last session, it was a season start full of pace and personality.

CSCA Round 2 is Open!

Round 2 of the 2026 CSCA Championship is on at One Raceway on 29th March, run by the legends at MG Car Club of Newcastle. We're tackling the Shelley Circuit — same track, reverse direction, proper head-spin, especially charging into the Fishhook. Entries are open, practice on the 26th. Six South Coasters headed off through the beautiful Kangaroo Valley for a coffee stop before driving on through the Southern Highlands to Tallong for lunch at The Midge.

Under balmy skies, eight brightly coloured MX-5s carved through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park—sweeping descents, tight bends, surprise vistas and a dash to West Head above Pittwater. A few raindrops couldn’t dampen the thrill, ending with laughs and dinner at Terrey Hills Tavern.

Australia Day 2026 saw 48 friends, 16 Mazdas and 90km of brilliant back roads, twisties and laughs, capped off with a chilly picnic at Fitzroy Falls. Great food, great company — and a surprise ending that no one saw coming!

Five Hills 2026

The Five Hills Run is our traditional first run for the year. The weather was quite a relief from the past few days of high 30s but there was quite a smoky haze from the Victorian bush fires. There were 8 MX-5s lined up in front of the Russell offices.
