It's a long way to Bungendore (The Royal)

Bungendore, a quaint little town just 40km and 35 minutes from Canberra, but for most us that just wouldn’t cut it. So we took a 230km and 2hr45min detour. Hence, the run was aptly named ‘It’s a long way to Bungendore’.

A fun winter run down the Putty Rd with a stop at Grey Gums, up Bells Line Rd across to Lithgow for lunch then on to Orange. It's an early start but necessary as we have quite a way to go.

Our third expedition to Leeton for the Art Deco Festival snuck up on me like a burglar. It had been so long ago that I initiated the run that I had almost forgotten to finish the planning. As it was, a little cramming a short time before take-off can work just as well.

Club Motorkhana Round 2

Thank you to all entrants for attending Round 2 of the MX-5 Club of NSW Motorkhana for 2025. Everyone behaved themselves providing a safe and fun day. There was a healthy level of competition particularly among family members and the juniors were also showing the taste of wanting to win. Results from Rounds 1 and 2 are now available to download.
