              Archibald Hotel Run

As the two groups of MX5s joined forces at Hartley Historic Village everyone was pleased that the weather ‘bomb’ had finished and we could all enjoy a relaxed run through the Blue Mountains and surrounds.

Our route took us up the Jenolan Caves road through some lovely sweeping bends before turning off onto a back road that wound its way back to Lithgow. There we enjoyed a lovely morning tea and cake  at the Tin Shed before heading off down the Bells Line Road. Upon reaching the Archibald Hotel in Kurrajong Heights we were met with a crystal clear view all the way over the Sydney Basin. Perfect location for lunch, this varied from a hearty steak, scrumptious pizzas, and healthy Caesar salad. A lovely day was had by all.
