Cruising to Charming Wiseman's Inn for Lunch

The weather gods were certainly smiling down upon us for our run from Dural to
Wiseman’s Inn. Given how many cold and rainy days we have had of late it was
amazing that we scored pleasant conditions. We welcomed new members Alan and
Andrew before starting our run from Macca’s at Dural. After passing the township of
Galston we wound our way through the picturesque Galston Gorge and heading
north towards the Berowra Ferry. We all made it onto the ferry with the exception of
the chapter convenors, Steve and Maree who were tail end Charlies. As the main
group wished them a fond farewell, we promised to keep aside some of the Anzac
biscuits Eilis had baked for our morning tea break at the marina on the other side of
Berowra Waters. It was at this point I noticed the group had managed to gain a
pristine British Racing Green NA belonging to Michael. Perhaps they had followed
the scent of the biscuits. After our break we headed west up the hill through Berrilee
and meandered along Cattai Ridge and Wisemans Ferry Rds to Maroota. Our final
stretch found us outrunning the ever-darkening sky down to Wisemans Inn, meeting
up with Bridgid, Ron and Gary from the RPM chapter. Everyone enjoyed lunch and a
great catchup with new and old friends.
