Tuesday 29 August found an intrepid group of Club members gathering at the Port Macquarie Service Centre for the start of the Inaugural Midweek Run for the Mid North Coast Chapter with Graham as run leader.

Sunday 27 August saw 20 Club members competing in Round 5 of the NSW Supersprint Championships at Sydney Motorsport Park's South Circuit. As well as some great individual performances, the MX-5 Club of NSW extended its lead to 161 points in the Club Championship.

New rules for Concours d'Elegance

The rules for judging entrants in Concours d’Elegance have been changed for 2017 as a trial of the Open Concours Rules to allow those members with MX-5s that were previously judged down on originality able to compete on a more even playing field for Concours honours.

Easter 2018 6hr Regularity Relay

NSW Road Racing Club will be running the third annual 6 hour regularity relay at SMP GP circuit on the Easter weekend next year - 31 March 2018 and 1 April 2018. Most of the teams that competed in 2017 will be back in 2018 to try and stop the MX-5 Club from repeating the success of 2017 where the two RPM Chapter teams (Blue Mountains Mazda and Panorama Mountain Men) took out first and second place. The event is run over two days with Easter Saturday being devoted to practice and Easter Sunday being the event. Entries for this event open on Tuesday 8 August and teams are currently being organised.
