Ringwood Raceway approved at last

A new 2.9km circuit at Ringwood (just north of Raymond Terrace) was approved by Port Stephens Council this week. Attempts to get this race circuit approved have been in the works since 2002 and went through several court cases before it was finally approved on 8 October. It is expected that earthworks should start in 2014 and be completed within 12 months. Excellent news for motorsport participants!
