Mazdas in the Mist 10 Years on!

 We Remember Sandra Reid - 27th February 2024

Mazdas in the Mist, started by Sandra and Phil Reid will Celebrate 10 years on 13th April 2024

Saturday 12th April 2014 - Mazdas in the Mist was born (then known as "Chat at Chats" in Robertson), Sandra and Phil Reid its proud parents.

From April 2016 - October 2017 it was "Spin at Pirouettes", at the Pirouettes Cafe Robertson

In November 2017 it became "Mazdas in the Mist", initially at Moonacres Cafe Robertson and moved to Burrawang General Store in Burrawang when it became too big for Moonacres.

In September 2023 the Burrawang General Store closed and we moved back to Robertson in November that year, to The Cheese Factory, the site of the original Robertson Cheese factory.

Since 2014 there have been between 20 to 30 members attending regularly over 106 Saturdays, with only 8 Saturdays cancelled due to Covid.

Saturday 27th February would have been Sandra Reid's 79th birthday.  Twelve members gathered at the Towradgi Hotel to toast Sandra and remember her time with us at MX-5 Illawarra. 

Phil and Sandra joined the Club in 2012, becoming Co-Convenors in 2013.  Those who knew her would remember her warmth, her cheeky smile and her unapologetic dry wit.  Sandra was a very active Club member, who enjoyed getting together with friends made at the Club, and with Phil, became the Illawarra member of the Year in 2015.

We remember Sandra fondly and look forward to toasting her and Phil on Saturday 13th April at Mazdas in the Mist 10 years on!
