Lesa Bunn wins Deckspeed drive in MX-5 Cup

There are 2 rounds of the MX-5 Cup remaining in 2014, and Deckspeed again plans to make a race car available for a lucky club member to drive at those rounds, as they have at the previous rounds this year.

At the club track-day on Sunday 1st June, club members had the opportunity to submit an entry to win that drive at the next MX-5 Cup round, with the draw being done at the end of the day.

The lucky and surprised winner was Lesa Bunn, seen here being congratulated by Daniel Deckers of Deckspeed, and she will be driving the Deskspeed NC race car at the next MX-5 Cup race event at Wakefield Park. Immediately after the draw, Daniel Deckers gave Lesa the opportunity for a few laps of Wakefield Park in the car she will be driving. She commented later that despite the wet track she found the car was lots of fun to drive.

Congratulations Lesa, and thanks to Deckspeed for their support of the club, and of the MX-5 Cup race series.

I am sure Lesa would really like to see some supporters at the track for her racing debut at Wakefield Park on Sunday 24th August
