Hunter's Beatty Pub Run

Well sixteen cars gathered at the Sugarloaf lookout upper car park where we had a byo Xmas themed morning tea. The weather had looked a bit like rain but we were lucky and were able to have our tops down.
Everybody was as usual in good spirits with lots of noise and laughter.
Departing the lookout at 10.30 the convoy had a very enjoyable and convoluted run with the now obligatory potholes, but none of our little cars were entirely swallowed up and we all made it safely to the East Gresford pub.
A large section of the Bistro had been set aside for us and the publican made us very welcome and we all enjoyed our delicious lunch and of course as usual there was much laughter and loud conversations.
We left about 2.30 and made our way home via various routes and it was a wonderful way to start the Christmas week.
Special thanks to Chris and John for organising and leading us.
