Clyde River Cruise

The group met for a 9am start at Bungendore on what was to be a very hot day.
Arrived at Batemans Bay at 10:30am and decided to park in the underground carpark at the Coles Supermarket. Plenty of spots and the limited parking time expires at 1pm. So no worry about being booked for exceeding our stay.
All 25 participants were aboard the vessel at 11:30am. The cruise proceeded towards the head of the Bay which I thought was the wrong direction as we should be heading upriver to Nelligen. The boat did a U-turn at the entrance to the Bay and headed back to the wharf to collect our hot fish, chips and salad lunches. All part of the package.
Headed upriver while we consumed lunch which was delicious and very good value.
The cruise takes you past numerous oyster leases and secluded properties.
Pulled in to Nelligen for a 40 minute stop and time for an ice-cream and a stroll around the few shops there.
The boat headed back to Batemans Bay. Everybody enjoyed the experience and the cool sea breeze helped compensate for the 35 degree day.
