Visit the Marine Rescue Base
The visit to the Marine rescue base will consist of a visit to three venues, a visit to the museum at the base, a visit to the control centre and a look at the Marine Rescue vessels. As the control centre has limited space for 10 visitors, our group will be broken into 3 groups to visit each of the venues in turn. The Marine rescue crew are providing a shuttle service for us from Wests Diggers Club, Nelson Bay where we will leave our cars.
The cost of the shuttles including a donation to the Marine Rescue will be $10/person.
The run from the Winery will finish at Wests Diggers club, Nelson Bay about 12:00 for lunch, reservations have been made for 30/35 people.
The shuttle to the Marine Rescue Venues will commence at 1:30pm.
