Spinning Wheel Tech & Alignment Day
Spinning Wheel has had to postpone the event from 12 March 2016 for three (3) weeks to Saturday 2 April 2016.
Spinning Wheel Tyres has joined the Jax Tyre group and is now known as Jax Spinning Wheel but only the name has been changed a bit but not their service or expertise. Spinning Wheel is a long established automotive business specialising in prestige cars and special fitments. Spinning Wheel have the latest camera technology, wheel alignment equipment and trained operators to provide the most accurate and best driving result possible for your MX-5 for road and track use. Over many years Spinning Wheel has managed an alignment day for the Club that has always been very successful and well received by all those membes lucky enough to get an alignment slot.
In 2016 the Jax Spinning Wheel crew wish to take the opportunity to concentrate in their tech talk on the tyres and suspension set up of MX-5s for road & track or exclusive track use. The inclusion of road & track this year does not result is the general membership loosing the benefit of Peter Galaegher’s accumulated knowledge and years experience in the proper set up for your MX-5 for your personal use.
This time around Jax Spinning Wheel is offering to our Club members:-
Alignment: - Whether you are a new owner or long term driver of an MX-5; here is a chance for a dozen members to have Jax Spinning Wheel align your wheels and provide expert advice on options for your car’s suspension and tyres. The Club has negotiated a special discounted alignment cost for stock and slightly modified cars of $77.00 for members only. If you have recently changed your suspension set up adding coilovers, sway bars or bushes etc., then 30 minutes will not be long enough to do the job properly and you will have to make a booking at another time at the discounted price Spinning Wheel offers members.
Tech Talk: Spinning Wheel specialists will share with you what they know about tuning your suspension from the choice of rubber to aftermarket accessories to best suit your MX-5 and driving preferences. The MX-5 Club has opened the tech talk to all MX-5 enthusiasts, members and non-members alike. The Spinning Wheel crew will open the session with advice on MX-5s for use on both road & track and the specialised requirements for dedicated track cars. A Spinning Wheel Track Day would not be complete without the traditional Q & A session for stock and modified MX-5s with participation from the floor encouraged. You will leave knowing more about your alignment, suspension tuning and wheels than you knew when you walked in.
