Shoalhaven Native Botanic Gardens
Travel via the highway to Berry, thence on to 7 Mile Beach Road to Shoalhaven Heads and the Shoalhaven Native Botanic Garden where we will have a BYO morning tea (it may be advisable to bring your own seats). After a stroll around the garden, a chat and morning tea we will depart for The Butter Factory restaurant at Pyree where lunch will be booked for midday.
Born in 1889, The Butter Factory has evolved from New South Wales’ largest butter-making hub, a Fresh Food and Ice Company in 1902 before being transformed into a restaurant in 1988.
Since 2006, The Heffill family ownership has seen the restaurant become a beloved venue for events and catering as well as it's renowned gardens that the frame the restaurant.
After lunch you may wish to visit the Christmas shop and other businesses within the Jindy Andy Village complex before leaving for home, after having an enjoyable day out.
