Hunter Convenors Picnic - Long (run to) Lunch
PLEASE NOTE: RSVP/BOOKING BUTTON IS ON A PER PERSON BASIS
As per the tradition, there is an Annual Hunter Convenors event but with a difference for 2018! Firstly, held in February and secondly, it will be a run culminating in a picnic in a beautiful park. To make the day easy and relaxing for your Co-Convenors, Lunch will be a picnic box (that you will pre-select and be given at the destination) and morning tea will also be included. This is a fully subsidised event for members and costs $20 for non-members.
This is a major event for the Hunter Chapter and is one not to be missed! Usually attracting a large crowd, in preparation, the run will be split into 3 groups starting off from the same place with a gap of approximately 5 mins between (you will be advised your nominated run group a few days before the event). After about an hour of roads less travelled (not the main road into Dungog!) we'll stop for morning tea (included) and then continue on to our final destination having almost completed a full circle and just in time for lunch! :)
Arriving at the picturesque John Tucker Park beside the Paterson river (so you're not so far from home), you'll collect your picnic (that you pre-selected), set up your chairs, table or picnic blanket and relax in each others company. After you and more importantly, your Convenors have relaxed and enjoyed your lunch we will present the prestigious Hunter Chapter 2017 Awards for Member of the Year and New Member of the Year. These awards recognise the members who are most active in organising and participating in events managed by the Hunter Chapter.
Due to the increased interest and support from members of the Hunter Chapter in relation to assisting &/or participating in Motorsports, a well timed Hunter Chapter Motorsport Member of the Year will also be presented. Points are accrued for this award based on the current points schedule on the club website.

Lunch Location: John Tucker Park, Paterson (if you are not attending the run you must still RSVP by clicking the booking button & please arrive for 12:30pm)
Important: BYO Drinks (no drinks provided), Picnic Items such as chairs, tables or picnic blankets!
We realise plans change however any cancellations must be received by 12pm Wednesday 14th February. Please email hunter@mx5.com.au with any changes to your plans (i.e. regarding runs or lunch).
