Club Track Day - Wakefield Park
Join us for another of our famous track days at Wakefield Park.
Spectator entry is FREE and the MX-5 drivers are always happy to see visitors and answer any questions about how to get involved with motorsport.
If you aren't planning to drive, still come and say hello!
Tuition Group
Modelled on the successful "Ladies Groups" at our Wakefield Park track days, we intend to have a group dedicated for those who would like some tuition from one of the club's experienced drivers. This tuition would be available in 2 untimed runs, with the other runs operating as normal. To avoid having too wide a difference in lap times between the drivers in this group, it is intended to be for those who have driven at Wakefield Park before, and who have not previously acheived a lap time faster than 1:18.
If you want to join the tuition group, please email David Lawler (eventmgr@mx5.com.au) AFTER you have submitted and entry for the track day. Spots will be available on a first-come basis.
Discount for Supersprint Officials
The MX-5 Club is running a round of the NSW Supersprint championship at Wakefield Park on the Sunday 14th May, the day before this track day. We need about 16 club members to assist as officials, primarily as flag marshalls. This is a great opportunity to se many of your fellow club members in action in a state championship, and to get up close with the action. Club members who assist at the supersprint are eligible for a 50% discount on their entry fee for the following track day.

Pre Track Day Dinner
We have missed having an organised pre track day dinner before the last few track days, but with the double-header on the 14th & 15th May, we are keen to have a get together. Stay tuned for more information.
Entry Fee & Payment
The club has decided to move away from credit card payments for our motorsport events. We have been unable to find a method of automating credit card payments with our current entry system, and want to avoid the ongoing risks to your information from processing card payments manually.
The preferred method of payment is by direct deposit. Please be sure to include the reference number provided by the entry system when performing the bank transfer, so we can identify your payment.
