Christmas at the Abbey
Let’s dust off the Covid blues, kick up our heels and enjoy the festivities of South Coast chapter’s Christmas celebrations on the beautiful South Coast and lush green hills of Milton!
Starting at 10:30am with Anda’s AM Affair, at Lions’s Park at Burrill Lake for our Club presentations, morning coffee and some Olympian tasks with Boules and Finska.
Some cakes and snacks will be provided, however you’re welcome to bring a small treat to share if you wish. BYO coffee or tea. Coffee is also available to purchase from a café nearby.
Following the morning exertions, we will adjourn to the Altar Wine Bar in Croobyer Rd, Milton https://www.altarwinebarmilton.com.au/ where we will enjoy a tapas style lunch with your favourite beverage.Located in the lush green grounds of The Old Church at Milton, The Altar Wine Bar offers a selection wines, also soft drinks and small bites to enjoy whilst listening to the tunes of a quirky live band, The Condiments.
The event will be subsidised by the MX5 Club, as usual, and there will be a moderate subscription required for each person attending, to be paid at the time of booking. This will cover a selection of pre ordered dishes. Beverages may be ordered separately.
The cost of the event will be $22 for members, $47for non-member partners. Beverages extra (see drinks list on link above)
