One Raceway Officials Come and Try Day

One Raceway is recruiting new motorsport officials for 2026 and beyond, and they're giving interested people the chance to taste the action at the 1R Officials Come and Try Day on Saturday 6 December.
Many volunteer officials start their journey as car club members, hence MX-5 Club of NSW members have been sent this invitation.
During the day, participants will find out:
- How to become an official.
- The types of officials who attend a motorsport event, their roles and responsibilities.
- The structure of officials' licences, how to obtain a licence and how to receive an upgrade.
- How to marshal at a trackside flag point, in pit lane or in the marshalling area
- Radio protocols for all roles
- How race control operates during a motorsport event
- What happens during a critical incident
Participants will also be treated to a free BBQ lunch.
One Raceway is also running a track day on Sunday 7 December - any attendees at the Come and Try Day are welcome to stay overnight (for free) in the on-site accommodation and put their newly-learned skills into practice during the track day.
