A group of twelve enthusiastic women from Illawarra, South Coast and Sydney, in eight stylish cars gathered at Hungry Jack’s in Haywards Bay, ready to embark on a scenic drive to the historic Robertson Hotel for a special high tea celebration. With weather on our side, we cruised along the picturesque route with our tops down, soaking in the fresh air and stunning countryside views.

The Robertson Hotel, perched gracefully atop a hill and surrounded by lush green gardens, felt like a step back in time. Its timeless charm and elegant setting made for the perfect destination. As we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed by the inviting glow of a cosy fireplace, adding to the intimate and sophisticated atmosphere. The beautifully arranged tables, adorned with delicate china and vintage furnishings, set the stage for an unforgettable experience.

Upon arrival, we indulged in a celebratory glass of bubbly or red wine, complemented by a classic English breakfast tea. We were delighted to be joined by two additional members from RPM, making our gathering even more special. Among us was Anne Fox, who joined her first run in “Max,” her stunning green NA, adding to the excitement of the day.

As we settled in, the conversation flowed effortlessly, as it always does when women come together. We savoured an exquisite selection of delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and cream, and an array of delightful pastries. The laughter, camaraderie, and shared stories made the occasion all the more meaningful.

It was truly a beautiful morning spent celebrating the incredible women in our community, embracing friendship, empowerment, and the simple joys of life.
