The Canberra Chapter held a breakfast picnic at Gary Owen Drive, Black Mountain Peninsula to celebrate Australia Day.

Sixteen cars and twenty-six members attended, arriving in their sparkling MX-5s to enjoy breakfast. Much discussion was had, what new items had members added to their cars, whether members were going to attend upcoming car club events.

The winner of the Australia Day modelling competition was none other than John Brown sporting a full Australia Day get-up including vegemite undergarments.

To top off the glorious morning, the Royal Australia Navy did a low helicopter flyover while carrying the Australian flag.
