Yulefest, or Christmas in July, on a Paddlewheeler

We will meet at the Mt Keira Lookout at 9am and having a BYO morning tea there in readiness to leave at 9.45am (the kiosk doesn't open until 10am which is too late for us).

Today we'll be cruising along the Nepean River on this romantic old world style paddle wheeler from 12pm to 2.30pm.

Experience for yourself the joy of the Nepean Gorge and see why the Nepean Belle is such an icon after spending almost 40 years cruising the Nepean River. The boat's design was based on the Mississippi sternwheelers, and was the last hull project built by De Havilland Marine at Homebush Bay.

The location, good food, atmosphere and romantic old world charm leads to a truly unique experience.

The captain will give us a running commentary, everyone is welcome to roam around the boat and enjoy all its' many facets, while we enjoy a Yulefest lunch and dessert.  Drinks are available on board for you to purchase at your own cost.

The cost of the lunch is $70 a head (not including drinks) and payment is required when booking.

Please make payment to MX-5 Car Club of NSW account shown below, quoting YULE1234 (replacing 1234 with YOUR member number) :

BSB: 032-020
Account: 381628

We need to know any special dietary requirements when booking.

This is a joint Illawarra and Sydney Run on the "Belle", so it'll be a social and jolly get together.  We've reserved 80 places, which will be kept for us only until early June, after that extra spaces will be released to the general public, so please BOOK NOW to reserve your seat!

Anyone wishing to meet us at the Nepean Belle, please be there by 11.30am for 12pm departure.  It is located at Tench Reserve, Tench Avenue, Jamisontown. Please specify if that's what you will be doing on the booking form.
