Day 1 Departing Raymond Terrace 8.00am to Gloucester then via
Thunderbolts Way to Walcha . After lunch we head down the Oxley H/way to Port
Macquarie for our first night . Days Drive 403 Km - Driving 5hrs 30 minutes.

Day 2 Depart Port Macquarie 8.30 am to Bellingen via Pacific H/way then to
Ebour , Guyra via Waterfall Way and then New England H/way to Glen Innes. For

Day 3 Today we head to Grafton, this is Jacaranda Festival time. Festival officially
starts this year 24th October but trees should be in bloom and
Grafton is worth seeing at this time. You will have time to check out Grafton at your
own leisure in the afternoon and next morning ifyou would like a second look
around. Depart Glen Innes 8.30 am to Tenterfield then Down the
Bruxne r H/way to Casino ( NSW BEEF CAPITOL) Lunch and then on to Grafton for the
afternoon look around . Days Drive 320 Km - Driv ing time 4 hours.
Abbey Motor Inn 59-61 Fitzroy St Grafton . Continental Breakfast available but
Dinner is in Town a short walk away . There is a pub with a nice Beer garden .
overlooking the Clarence River that serves meals a short walk from the Abbey
meals have been good here in the past .

Day 4 Grafton to Armidale via Dorrigo . We will have passed through Dorrigo on
day two but not stopped so today there will be time to lookaround
A later departure today as we head to Dorrigo for Lunch and a look. From here
its on to Armidale . There is a short section of todays drive we have driven on day 2 but
most of the drive new to this trip . Not a big day today

24th October
Day 5 Armidale to Branxton then home will be New England H/way all the way
Days Driving 333 Km - Driving Time 4 hrs 25minutes Comfort stops and lunch on top of this
time . Lunch Break Muswellbrook then to Branxton for fairwells
This trip is about the drive not so much about sightseeing but there is time for some
looking around . The roads we will be driving are full of twists and bends,
up hills and down again and will be a test of Driver and car. Fun to be had so hang on
to your hat.
