Leura Gardens Festival
After meeting at Windsor we will cruise through the scenic Yarramundi Reserve which offers some lovely twisty bits and peaceful surroundings- perfect MX5 territory. We will gather at the Wentworth Falls Lake and Picnic Area prior to visiting the gardens. (We will also have lunch here later at 1.30pm which will be BYO).
From Wentworth Falls make your own way to Leura, visiting the gardens of your choice. We suggest splitting into groups of 2 as there will be quite a few people and smaller groups may be easier to manage.
This year's festival features eight stunning gardens including three new additions. One of these is called " Komorebi" - a Japanese word that beautifully describes sunlight filtering through trees. Just imagine that dappled light dancing across vibrant spring blooms.
If you prefer you can get the bus from Leura Station. The bus goes round all the gardens every 20 minutes. Last year the bus was $10pp.
