Laggan Pub Lunch
Laggan Pub was once voted the best country pub in NSW. Today it is run by a local family who has always welcomed our MX5 club with open arms, also backing up with some great pub food. It hosts many car clubs being a popular lunch stop over on their runs from Sydney, Bathurst, Orange and Goulburn areas.
The village of around 300 people is a few kilometres north east of Crookwell and was founded for pastoral use as well as a stop for convicts during the building of roads between Bathurst and Goulburn.
After lunch you might want to explore this historic village a little more. The old stone police barracks C1837 still stand along with a rebuilt mill. The current Laggan Pub was built in 1924.
Leaving from Sutton Bakery the run will be a just on 100 kms each way, through typical country sealed roads with some twists.

Run Grade: This is a cruiser run, suitable for all drivers. It features narrow country sealed roads, mostly reasonably quiet but there may be the odd rough edge or pothole to negotiate. The Club’s Grading System is described here.
