Dingo Sanctuary & Iron Works
Join us for a pleasant drive to the Southern Highlands to visit the Dingo Sanctuary in Bargo. The Sanctuary was set up in 1976 to promote a better understanding of Australia’s Native dog. Read all about the sanctuary here: https://dingosanctuary.org.au/
You can choose to participate in an ‘Up Close and Personal Encounter’ (recommended) which gives you an opportunity to pat the dingoes.
Tickets are $10pp entry and an extra $10pp (optional) for the dingo encounter. We will be attending the 11:00am session..make sure you select this time slot when making your booking.

After lunch, we will stop off at the site of the Fitzroy Iron Works (optional) which was the first commercial iron smelting works in Australia. It first operated in 1848. The exposed remains of the protected site are located in the underground car park of Highlands Marketplace in Mittagong.
