Nurbushring and Pacific Palms Run

Once again a perfect spring day for our monthly MX-5 run to our lunch stop the Pacific Palms Recreation Club. Perhaps indicative of our busy lives and our smaller Mid Coast Group we had a select group of three MX-5s this time, two joined at Port Macquarie and the other at Taree.

Port Macquarie Mazda Go Kart Challenge

The Port Macquarie Mazda Go Kart Challenge was held back in August. Congratulations to Keiran Rodgers for winning the inaugural Challenge and Trophy by a whisker from Greg Cox.

A number of desperado drivers & cars furtively gathered together for a run "down south to the border." Packages of "booty" were carefully secreted in hidey holes of trunks to escape unwanted detection. Large sombreros ensured that faces were hidden and ponchos disguised the rest.

Our Club's celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Mazda MX-5 was an elaborate affair with a wide variety of options to get involved one way or another. The climax was at Tatlers Wines in Lovedale where 120 people in 70 MX-5s gathered for brunch.
