SB Autos turbo MX-5 Night

A relatively quiet Wednesday set the scene when over 30 MX-5 enthusiasts descended on Hurlstone Park in Sydney’s inner west for the first SB Auto Tech Night.

Supersprint Round 2 at SMP GP

Round 2 of the CAMS NSW Supersprint Championship was held on the Grand Prix circuit at Sydney Motorsport Park on Sunday 15 May. A clash with the Nulon Nationals at Bathurst hillclimb meant that our team numbers were down for the day, yet we fielded a strong team of 20 MX-5 Club drivers, which was an excellent effort.

Hunter heads south on our annual Putty Road run to meet up with the Sydney Chapter in Windsor for the return trip. The early start was hard, but the lack of traffic heading south made it one of the best Putty runs to date!

28 starters for the Mystery Run and BBQ met at 9.30 a.m. at Blamey Square, Russell, on a cloudy morning with rain a distinct possibility – and for the first time in a long while, the MX-5s had to share the parking with the Corvette Club which had also decided to use the site as their start point for a club run.
