**12m rego goes with the sell. Dropped 2k since first trying to sell, the rear windscreen has detached, despite the soft top otherwise being in excellent condition (never so much as a drop in pouring rain). I've been told by Sydney Soft Tops that this is due to normal shrinkage, and they'll need to completely replace it rather than repair. I don't have the time anymore to put into doing it myself. - see the final pictures.**
2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata NB Series 1.8L in British Racing Green with full engine refurb
My pride and joy since July 2019, a very reluctant sell due to growing family, all stock fittings except for rollbar as far as I know. Apart from a few minor cosmetics, she looks, drives and sounds absolutely beautiful.
Was off the road due to a warped engine head (coolant hose burst) mid 2022 at just over 210,000km, have since pulled the engine and had it fully overhauled, refurbished and reinstalled by licenced mechanic with Stoney Racing silicone hoses this time, all receipts here. Tight as a drum, haven't seen a drop of oil since with regular use. The clutch is Exedy brand with a good amount of wear.
Professionally installed Sony XAV-AX205 DB Apple CarPlay/Android Auto DVD Receiver (originally $900), still works a charm. Custom seatcovers, hand-stitched leather grip over Nardi steering wheel, die-cast gearknob and dash piping (all self-installed). Also Narva LED high-beam fitted over front numberplate with isolation switch in driver footwell for country/night driving.
Only non-functioning feature is the heater, as the coolant pipe fittings at the compartment wall was the site of the original burst. My mechanic has simply bypassed the system (see photo below), as I do not have the time to sort a replacement part and perform re-install.
Can also supply K-Speed gold mags with low-wear tyres for additional $1k, though one of them has an internal rim gouge that would require repair. They look fabulous on.
Odo: 219,648, but that engine is basically brand new. Want it to go to a good home.
